Is organic milk healthy?

As a milk consumer you may wonder if organic milk is good for you. People have different opinions on what is true and what is wrong. What we know is that organic Danish milk contains a lot of important vitamins and minerals that your body need.

Vitamin B2, Vitamin B12, Calcium, Protein, Phosphorus, Potassium and Iodine are all ingredients that is good for your health and they are all naturally contained in our organic milk.

Further, organic milk is based on sustainable production without use of pesticides and artificial fertilizers and with special attention to animal welfare.

If you are thinking that you just could consume alternative products like oat milk, almond milk and soymilk and still get the same nutrients, you are wrong. The milk alternatives have a low natural content of vitamins and minerals compared to what milk naturally contributes and have to be artificially enriched with e.g. calcium. However, despite possible calcium enrichment, milk alternatives still lack more of the milk's other nutrients. As an example, oatmeal, almond and rice beverages contain less than 1 gram of protein per 100 grams. Only soy drinks have a protein content similar to milk. Mostly the milk alternatives also contain added sugar.

Overall natural organic milk is a good option for getting minerals and vitamins that you need when eating a well-balanced and nourishing diet.
